Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 April 2026

These terms govern your use of the Nyelo application ("the app", "the service"). By using Nyelo, you agree to these terms.

What Nyelo Is

Nyelo is a private family management application that provides shared calendar views, meal logging, and household organisation tools. It is designed for personal, non-commercial family use.

Accounts and Access

Access to Nyelo is controlled by the app administrator (the person who set up the app). There are no individual user accounts — access is managed through a shared PIN and connected calendar accounts.

You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure and for any activity that occurs through the app under your access.

Connected Services

Nyelo connects to third-party calendar services (Google Calendar, Apple iCloud) at your direction. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. Nyelo is not affiliated with Google, Apple, or any other third-party service provider.

You may disconnect any connected service at any time through the app's settings.

Acceptable Use

Nyelo is provided for personal family use. You agree not to:

Availability

Nyelo is provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep the app running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app depends on third-party services (hosting, calendar providers) that are outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nyelo and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, lost data, missed calendar events, or service interruptions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
